R.E.B.E.L...Y.E.L.L [McDoC Evo-XR Twilight Mix]

Running Time : 9:32
Link removed by request
This is actually the first multi-track I've remixed and I finished it at twilight, hence the title. I used the synth part for the intro along with Billy's vocals then did the arrangement in 80's mixing fashion. Ain't multitracks cool? Here's hoping they put out more of these using the original recordings. Again, thanks to woozie.94.

McDoC Evo-XR Remixes is ONE YEAR OLD

WOW! It's been a year already since I've posted my Evo-XR treatments, my re-edits/remixes, that is. It was in October 25, 2008 when I published my eXtended Re-edit of New Year's Day. However, after only a week and about 200 downloads, it was taken down by blogger. Well, you know how it is with the Dee-eM-Cee-A. ;) . Anyways, I'd just like to THANK YOU all for visiting and special mention goes to the following who has supported my blog and/or dropped a comment in my posts or chatbox:

I was planning on uploading a compilation of all the re-edits I've done and posted here... including a few that were taken down by blogger, some alternative re-edits and a minimix. However, I'm having problems with my internet speed in uploading/downloading for almost two weeks now. So, maybe when things get better I could post those stuffs. :)

H.U.N.G.R.Y...L.I.K.E...T.H.E...W.O.L.F [McDoC Evo-XR Midnight Mix]

Running Time : 6:25

My friend woozie.94 shared the multitrack file of HLTW along with some others. It's great fun mixing the multitracks because it lets you arrange the tracks according to what you have in mind. It's like heaven for us fan remixers when we get hold of the multitracks of our favorite songs. To give you an idea of what I'm saying, check out my own remix of DD's HLTW. ENJOY!!!

N.O...E.X.P.L.A.N.A.T.I.O.N [McDoC Evo-XR Mix]

Running Time: 7:00

Among the requests of waversunite was "No Explanation". While the artist wasn't mentioned, I assumed it's the Steve Kilbey-penned song of The Church, one of my fave Oz bands. A simple mix stretched to 7 minutes using the original version from the EP/album "Remote Luxury". I don't think there was an official extended version released. Come to think of it, was there any official extended versions released by this band? What I know is that The Church still makes great music up to now.

S.H.E...L.O.V.E.D...L.I.K.E...D.I.A.M.O.N.D [McDoC Evo-XR Remix]

Running Time : 6:25

This track is my favorite track next to Chant No. 1 from Spandau's Diamond LP. It was their sophomore album and the band displayed their funky sound along with some experimental synths. At first, while the first 5 tracks were easy to like, I thought that the last 3 songs from "Diamond" were kinda odd. But since my cassette player was on "auto-reverse" and "She Loved Like Diamond" was the track prior to the three, I've come to like the whole album after several playbacks. The sound of Gary's wailing guitar on this song, although quite simple and not like the fancy & explosive works of the guitar-gods, was somewhat hypnotic to me at that time. Sadly, it barely lasted for 3 minutes that yearning for a longer version has always been in my mind. Finally, an Evo-XR treatment is done and I'd like to thank AJWAVE and cispas for the Spandau shares of the extended and instrumental versions. CHEERS!!!

W.A.V.E.S [McDoC Evo-XR Remix]

Runing Time: 5:55

Requested by Mikeyten, this song doesn't have an official extended version. It's a pity because I believe this is one of their best. I gave it an Evo-XR treatment using the album version. Enjoy!!!
